When it occured to me it would be a good idea for me to be a wedding photographer I ran my business plan by my lovely friend Molly. She thought it was a good idea too and asked her brother Jimmy if I could help shoot his wedding in Tahoe. Their main photographer Kurt Andersen was so generous and kind to allow me to photograph with him.  It didn’t have to be and he was.

It’s been an honor and a priveledge to be included in Jimmy and Elena’s family and their process as a family ever since.

I have been editing for days!  And in-between continuing to shoot. Portraits take me a couple of hours to shoot and up to 4 to edited, weddings a couple of days at least.  I don’t know what the holdup is. I keep thinking I need to be faster but, I can’t make it go any faster although, I just ordered a mac book pro. Maybe that would help with the swiftness in productivity. Maybe I should not take so many pictures. Maybe I shouldn’t try to make each piece a fine art image. I don’t know. At this point I am not willing to change, so maybe I will get faster. Computers are hard they have issues and I am still learning.

This week my new ezi digital magic burner broke I only got it in June, only used it once…No more warranty JUNK. Oh, it was only $400.oo dollars. I bought BLOGSTOMPED so I don’t have to spent all day getting my logo on my blogged images which I still don’t do because it takes so long. $49.00 bucks, not working and they won’t write back. I bought actions from Sallee it actually freezes my photoshop $79.00 bucks. Being a photographer, priceless.

I met John being one of his servers at his restaurant in Lake Almanor Gambonis Penninsula Grill I fell head over heals for his fiance Molly. A very special girl. I also had the honor of photogrpahing their wedding at the CIA GREYSTONE in St. Helena I love this story because John and Molly are so opposite. She is an avid animal rights advocate, they have 5 dogs, she’s a vegetarian. He is a hunter, head mounts line the garage. She would have 10 kids all adopted. He would prefer none thank you very much. HA. Guess who is over the moon? He is ruined. Baby Baby Baby…. seeing  him with his girl Lila; this is the reason women bring themselves to the brink of death for the love of their man and of course procreation, so they can experience this. I know I did it a lot  and Ian was and is in love with all his babies. Lila is a very lucky baby she has two parents that are going to devote themselves to her well being and a daddy that’s probably a lot like the one Molly has! Lucky Lucky baby.

I really like Lila not because she is really smart and  advanced which she is, but because when I held her she didn’t fuss and she starred straight at me, tracked me and was very sweet and alert. I think she is extremely special and I wish I could just hold her and spend time with her again today. But, no, I have much work to edit.
